Welcome to the Prom!
Today is Natasha's Vintage Virtual Prom!! Since I have never been to a prom or any kind of dance, I was so exited about the chance to pick out something fabulous to wear! O f course, I don't actually have anything to wear in my closet, but I had the best time virtual shopping for the virtual prom!! :D First, I found these amazing shoes!!
that looked great with these earrings!

But what about a dress? Hmmmm- this pretty yellow one?
With this lovely necklace??
Or maybe this sweet white one......
with this necklace?
or this one? I really like this one!
But here is one of my favorite colors- I love green and these dresses are fabulous!

and these little sparkling earrings!!
But wait- here's one in my very favorite color!!!!!
And WOW- look at the jewelry I could wear with it!

Is this a fabulous bracelet or what??

And OH! Look at these pretty pink dresses!!

With these fantastic earrings and necklace!!
Oh, and while I'm virtual shopping, I think I will pick out a cute car to arrive at the prom in!!

Hmmm- the green one or the pink one- I think the pink!Oh, and since this is only a "virtual" prom, my husband said it's o.k. if my virtual date is Mr. Presley!!!
That was fun shopping for the prom! Now if I could just figure out how to Photoshop my head on top of those dress photos.....
O.K., now that I've picked out my lovlies, I'm off to see what you other fabulous ladies at Natasha's party are wearing!!

It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas....... (at my house, at least!)Yes, it's early! And that's O.K.! I love Christmas time and all my fun Christmas decor and I will put them out as early as I want to! As soon as Halloween is over, out come the many boxes and opening each box of Christmas goodies is like opening a Christmas present! I am always gone visiting my parents in California for most of December, so the only time I have to enjoy my own Christmas decor is in November . Thankfully, my sweet husband and little guys don't mind a bit! They love Christmas, too! These are all my pastel Christmas things which are in my bedroom, but the rest of my home is decorated in traditional reds and greens. I will show photos of those in my next post!
I love those little houses! I bought them unfinished at Hobby Lobby and painted them, added glitter, and little pink or aqua gemstones for the doorknobs! I only glittered the roofs, but I think I should glitter the entire houses!! Don't you? Never too much glitter!!
This adorable little ballerina was a present from my sweet mama for Christmas a couple of years ago. Isn't she the cutest?!

Hello ladies!
In case you were wondering, yes, I am still alive! It has been a busy and very fun month! First, here are a few of the paper dolls I made for a swap with a few other talented ladies- they were so much fun to make!Second, my anniversary is this month- 14 happy years married to my best friend!!
And third, October is also my birth month! I was lucky enough to have my sweet parents visiting and look at the yummy goodies I received from my sweet mama!! She knows just what I like! I think my favorite is the sweet embroidered tablecloth with the bluebirds. Isn't it just perfect? Oh, and do you see that stack of glittery letters I can make garlands with? So much fun!!
And last, here is my cake. My sweet husband and dad went to buy it for me and when I saw what it said I just laughed and laughed. They are so fun. They said the bakery lady didn't want to write it on the cake and that the cashier said it was mean, but luckily I am not worried about how old I am. :D I worry about how old I look, but now how old I am! LOL!! Now if the cake had said "Michelle, you look old" that would have been a problem!

By the sea.....Here is my newest bits and pieces collage!! They are so much fun!! And below is an image from a book of vintage posters my mom gave me.
And these last two fabulous prints my mom bought from Moonlight and Roses. They are mounted on boards and have sparkle added to them!! They look even more magical in person!

It's been so long since I have been able to visit the seaside, but at least I can enjoy all my lovely seaside themed decor and sea souveniers- seashells, sea glass, and sea pottery! Have any of you collected sea pottery? In Fort Bragg, California there is a wonderful place called Glass Beach and old broken pieces of pottery regularly wash up on the shore. Isn't that cool? It is so fun to sit on the beach for hours searching for it! What is your favorite thing to do or place to go when you visit the sea?
