Antiquing with two sweeties....
My sweet mama, my adorable baby Dylan and I had so much fun at the antique mall last weekend! As you can see, Dylan loves vintage hats as much as I do!I took some photos of my favorite booths. We saw pretty pillows, lovely vintage photos, yummy vintage hats, old silver tarnished to perfection, beautiful lace, and inspiring vignettes.Hmmm~ I think I might need more cloches!I love the sweet little dance costume. I had one so similar to this one when I was just 5 years old. I so wish I had kept it!Look at this yummy booth! . Lots of white and pastels....and lots roses!I want to make a wreath with vintage Christmas ornaments, but I need to collect some first!I loved this amazing wall sconce! It looks so much better in person and I'm sure it would look a whole lot better on any wall that wasn't pegboard! And this piece was so gorgeous! I will show you what I purchased in my next post.

Hi Michelle, what a cutie Dylan is turning out to be!! I went to an estate sale this morning with Avery, and everyone was joking about training her early to love antiquing! And funny you should mention an ornament wreath- I actually picked up some antique ornaments this morning to make one!

You asked me about finding time to create. I always find it odd when people ask ME that, because I'd like the answer to that as well! I feel so unproductive compared to so many out there... But for me anyway, I'd say 90% of my creating happens during afternoon naptime. Both my older boys are in their rooms between about 2:00 and 4:00, supposedly napping. Sometimes the naps don't actually happen, but they know that they must stay in their room and play quietly during that time.

I am very selfish about that time every day!! It is ME time to do whatever I want-sometimes just relax and sometimes to create.

So there's my solution for now. In a couple years, I won't be able to force the "naps" as easily, but I'll figure out something else then, I guess!
