Inspired...
I found this fabulous old vintage door last weekend and I love it!!! I have wanted one for years and this one is the prettiest shade of aqua blue! It has inspired me to redecorate this corner of my little cottage.
My 10-month-old baby Dylan loves this baby doll head almost as much as I do. She seems pretty happy up there sitting on the old books.
Pretty sconce I found at the antique mall. It's just dripping in crystals. Not sure if I will leave it gold or paint it white.I'm really loving this look- vintage, shabby, country, cottage, junk chic? Whatever you call it, it makes me feel happy!Yummy millinery rose and a vintage lace runner draped over the chippy old door. This is my favorite part of this corner. One of my pretty half dolls- I think she's dreaming of Paris in Spring.
I know I am! Maybe someday....
Are you dreaming of Spring? Michelle xoxo

Oh my goodness, your corner is a vision of loveliness and peace. I've wanted an old door too and yours is perfect - dreamy color! You've really created a very special little area. I, for one, like the sconce with the finish it has right now - it's so good to have some contrast and this provides it against the other pales. Also, it really highlights the brown books and the glimpses of wood under the aqua paint on the door. Looks wonderful!

I also love the sheet music tussie mussie in the ornate frame. I still don't get the doll head trend, but that's just me.
