It's party time!
I am joining the "Where Bloggers Create" party over at My Desert Cottage! Bloggers are showing their pretty and inspiring studio spaces. I have so been enjoying taking a peek into all these amazing creative rooms. If you visit the party at My Desert Cottage you will see her beautiful studio and if you scroll down, the right sidebar has the links to all the other blogs who are participating. Here are the photos of my studio/guest bedroom.
And here is my little helper. He helps me make a mess in the studio- as if I need any help with that! Haha! Now I am off to enjoy all the other fun party posts!

Vintage treasures
A few of my prettiest vintage treasures. I love to display them in my beautiful vintage sewing drawer. The soft aqua blue is my favorite color and the art nouveau design is so lovely.I bought this great architectural piece at a wonderful antique store in Austin called Uncommon Objects. It was dark brown, but I loved the shape and knew it would look fabulous painted white. (Of course, I think nearly everything looks better painted white!) I roughed it up a bit with some sandpaper and added a gorgeous rhinestone button for a little sparkle. Love the soft shade of light blue on this pretty vintage hat my sweet mama gave me last Christmas. Part of me wants to remove all the pretty flowers for my art projects, but this one is just too pretty.
My favorite pillow. I adore the colors and the wonderful old barkcloth fabric. And last, I have to show you some of the gorgeous vintage wallpapers I received from Holly.
Aren't they gorgeous??? I can't wait to use them in my art!Michelle xoxo

A Little Bit of This and That....
Hello! No real theme today. Just a little show and tell. Above is the beautiful plate my sweet mama bought me on our Mother's Day antiquing trip. I had one just like it years ago, but one fateful day I was cleaning and knocked down the shelf holding it and many of my other favorite dishes, breaking them all. I saved the dishes so I could salvage their beauty and make a mosaic with them, maybe around a mirror frame or picture frames.Next a photo of some of my favorite rhinestone pieces on a pretty dish. When I can't go shopping for vintage treasures, the next best thing for me is to play with the ones I have. I had fun yesterday while Mr. Baby was sleeping. I redecorated the top of my TV cabinet with some pretty white baskets, vintage hats, and a pretty white frame.I found two of the baskets at Goodwill for only a dollar each and I found the lovely swan there, also.
I also redecorated my jadite green side table with a curio cabinet filled with millinery flowers and other vintage goodies, a cute lamp I found at the Goodwill, a baby book, my own baby shoes and my favorite teacup.
My sweet little carnival doll- I love her. She always makes me smile.
And of course I have to show off this super sweet photo of Daddy and Mr. Baby.Michelle xoxo
