I am so glad you stopped by my blog! I have 3 nephews who are all grown with families of their own in Austin and Waco. They were all born here in Ohio. I miss them. I have been to Texas twice. I loved the bluebonnets! You and I have so many things in common...a love of vintage fashion, books, buttons, sheet music, embroidered linens, scrapbooking, 80s rock, swing, being addicted to ATCs and being a stay at home mom. I love your blog and art work. I was so happy to stop by. Keep in touch! Amy
Michelle, I am super excited to have my blog listed on your blog's favorites list! I have added yours to mine as well- I hope you don't mind. I have found some more things that we have in common. I am not at all interested in sports; we are a sports team free home, although my kids love to throw the ball around and kick a soccer ball too. We are not a family that runs from one sports practice/event to another. I adore vintage children's books and toys. I have tried to find some of my baby boomer toys that were lost along the way. I love simple old toys that don't require batteries!! I laugh at Sponge Bob cartoons even after seeing them a thousand times. I love to look at the faces of the fish in the backgrounds of scenes. I grew up the youngest child and only girl in a family with 3 brothers- all very much older than me. The youngest of my brothers is 10 years older than I. My oldest brother was married already when I was only 5 yrs old! I think your art is so creative. For me, doing art is like therapy only cheaper...if only SLIGHTLY cheaper. Haha! Amy
