Vintage bliss.....
Today I took my birthday money and went to one of my very favorite antique malls and I can't tell you how happy I am with my purchases!!!
I found some gorgeous vintage fabric with huge bouquets of roses! Such beautiful colors! I love rose prints~especially vintage ones.I also found this amazing vintage hat. It's so pretty! I think I could stare at it all day.
And this beauty. I saw her last time I visited the antique mall and I regretted not buying her. At the time I thought she was too beat up. Who me?? What was I thinking?? I could not believe she was still there!! So I put her in my shopping cart (yes, this antique mall has carts! how cool is that?) and was giddy thinking how lucky I was that she was still there waiting for me!
I also found a vintage encyclopedia and this lovely lamp base which I plan to use as a candle holder. I just love the patina it has!And I couldn't pass up this little cutie, now could I? She is too sweet!!

What pretty treasures you found Michelle. Those little dolls are so sweet. That rose fabric is gorgeous too. So many great things that you could make with it.

Happy Birthday!
That is exactly the kind of shopping trip I would take with birthday $ as well. The dolls and hat are wonderful.

You rocked the antique mall and got some great stuff! When I got money for my birthday in Sept. I headed to my favorite antique mall about 20 minutes from here. I got a pair of vintage barkcloth curtain with roses and beautiful florals for $14 (for the pair). I also bought hand made mini aprons for dolls in feedack florals. I got a vintage card table tent for the boys that looks like a house. I bought a few little things for altered art and jewelry making and an awsome old box covered in roses and florals. It was so fun to get money and buy the things I love. Love your little cuties...boys can be fun...mine just don't get the pink/roses...they wish I lived in my own house! LOL Take care!

Happy belated birthday sweet girl! Isn't it nice to have some guilt-free fun money to spend? I would have headed straight for the antique mall too... you're a girl after my own heart :). I love every single one of your purchases! Especially that amazing velvet-y hat - yum.
